Well we are still heading north towards Canada, we should be there in a couple of weeks. We made it out of Yosemite (so sad to leave...still our favorite so far) and went to Jackson CA. From Jackson we were supposed to head to South Lake Tahoe, but a snow storm over the Sierra Mountains made us change plans We ended up in Auburn CA and got to travel some of the 49er's trail, which was very interesting (no gold though). We did see the location of Sutter's Mill where gold was discovered that began the 1849 gold rush to California.
We left Auburn and went to Sparks just outside of Reno where we visited South Lake Tahoe and Harrah's Auto Museum. From there we worked our way up to the Tetons for 13 nights where we did our first real boondocking on US Forest Service land as well as a couple of campgrounds. We waited on the South entrance road to Yellowstone to open and headed up there for a week, it had been 32 years since we had been to Yellowstone...boy does time fly by. We are currently in Polson, Montana which is a beautiful place and headed to Glacier National Park before we go to Canada. I included several photos from Yosemite to Yellowstone to catch up with our current location.
